Appeals procedure

Your name can be removed from the register at any time if the Registrar is not satisfied that you still meet the conditions of registration or if you have failed, or refused to take a standards test.

The Registrar will notify you of their intention to remove you from the register and you are entitled to make representation to them within a three month period.

If you are aggrieved at the Registrar’s refusal of your application or removal of your name from the Register, you have a right of appeal to the VRT.

On receiving the appeal, the VRT may appoint a panel to hold an enquiry into the matter and the VRT will make their decision after considering the recommendations of the panel. This decision is final.
